In memory of the master Italo Grassi MOVEMENT INTERNATIONAL ITALO MURALISM GRASSI

PRESENTATION:
The National Movement of Argentina Muralists is the first movement of mural painting and public art created in the country. Was founded in 1971 and aims to encourage the mural, public art, organizing national and international meetings of muralists, give workshops, talks, and extending the mural discipline to all areas of society, adding to young artists and creators of art public to such activities. The MNMA not a particular branch of politics, free-thinking artists are democratic have in common the idea of \u200b\u200bart for all, in defense of Latin American identity in a non-elitist language using the mural as a tool of expression artistic, historical, educational, political, social and humanist. This blog will add notes about their creation, their history, founders, meetings, plays, theoretical aspects of the mural and news about future meetings of murals in various locations throughout the country and the world. The aim is to inform, create space for discussion and welcome all interested artists to join this movement that has continued to grow over the years, and is also the history that led to the creation of new groups and movements of mural art in Argentina.
